- Description
In 923, the American Central Asian expedition team led by Captain Andrews discovered dinosaur fossil in the Mongolian Plateau, and found that it was near a pile of fossils of protoceratops and was on a pile of fossil eggs. Due to limited technical conditions at the time, they believed that the dinosaur was stealing the eggs of the protoceratops. Then Dr. Osbow, named it oviraptor and has been using it till now. The oviraptor dinosaur is a small species of theropod dinosaur that survived in the late Cretaceous. It is 1.8 to 2.5 meters long. The size is like an ostrich, with long claws and long tails. It is presumed that it has strong athletic ability and quick movement. It can use a tough tail like a kangaroo to keep the body balanced and run fast. On March 24, 2007, the Chinese explored the world's smallest oviraptor fossil in Henan Province.
